The Dragon and the Star Tea

A purple dragon serves glowing star tea to an owl at a wooden workshop table.

The dragon asked Owl over for tea. The workshop was quiet. Stars shone outside the window.

He chose star tea made from dried herbs. The recipe said lights would shine in a cup.

He rushed and added too many herbs. The tea tasted bitter. No golden lights appeared.

“Let’s read the recipe again,” said Owl. It called for one spoon of herbs and time to steep.

The dragon measured one spoon into a clean pot. Owl, the grown-up, poured the hot water. They waited.

This time, the tea smelled of mint. Tiny lights shone in the cups like stars.

The dragon thanked Owl. They sipped their tea and shared stories at the table.

One bad try had not spoiled their evening. He could pause, check the steps, and try again.
